Story Time promotes early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Children will practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as independence; your 3-6-year-old is encouraged to attend on their own if this suits their growing independence and your comfort, but adults (and younger/older siblings) are welcome to join and participate as well. Mr. Fred Rogers shared the importance of play when he said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.” We hope you’ll stay and play with friends!

Calling all Master Builders: Let your LEGO imagination soar at the Library! Build as a family, a group, or by yourself. Our LEGO Club is the second Sunday of the month during the school year. Be sure to stop in and enjoy the fun!
This drop in program is for LEGO enthusiasts and brick-curious kids ages 5-12. While this is a drop in program, it is not a drop off program. Children under the age of 8 will require adult supervision.
Join us for a Story Time program designed specifically for autistic children, neurodivergent children, or children who find it difficult to sit through our traditional Story Time programs. This 45 minute program is for children ages 3-8 along with their parent or caregiver and includes stories, movement and songs. The program concludes with unstructured free play for families in attendance.
