Story Time (ages 3-6)

Story Time promotes early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Children will practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as independence; your 3-6-year-old is encouraged to attend on their own if this suits their growing independence and your comfort, but adults (and younger/older siblings) are welcome to join and participate as well. This program fosters exploration and discovery, and may include art, STEM, and mindful movement.

Registration is not required.

Rhyme Time Stay & Play (ages 0-2)

Rhyme Time is a 20-minute program which engages your child in early literacy development through interactive stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement. Rhyme Time is designed for children birth through 2 years accompanied by an adult. Older siblings are welcome. 

Registration is not required.

This Rhyme Time session will be followed by half an hour of unstructured play with developmentally appropriate toys. Mr. Fred Rogers shared the importance of play when he said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.” We hope you’ll stay and play with friends!

Kids’ 3D Printer Training (3rd-6th grade)

Learn how to use the Library’s 3D printers. Registration is required for each child attending. A parent or guardian must attend the 3D printer training with their child to ensure responsible use of the technology.

Baby Time (ages 0-12 mo.)

Baby Time is an interactive 20-minute program for babies (0 – 12 months) with an adult. Enjoy simple stories, lap bounces, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays together! Older siblings are welcome. Registration is requested. Walk-in attendees will be welcomed in if space allows us to accommodate.
